How it works
You pay by card or Apple Pay on Trustap’s secure payment page. The total, including fees, is shown before you pay.
Your tickets are released to you after payment is confirmed.
Trustap holds the payment until after the screening and the ticket issue deadline. The seller is paid after that if no problem was reported.
If something goes wrong
If your tickets don’t work, report the problem from your ticket before the deadline shown there.
Trustap investigates the report and decides the outcome under its terms. The payment stays on hold until then.
Film Exchange doesn’t decide disputes.
Film Exchange does not provide replacement tickets.
Fees and refunds
Protected checkout adds one buyer protection fee, shown with the total before you pay. Direct payment has no Film Exchange fees.
If Trustap approves a refund, you get back everything you paid, including the buyer protection fee. If you pay $40.29 for a $35.00 ticket, an approved refund is the full $40.29.
Your bank may take longer to show a refund.
For sellers
Instant sale means buyers can check out without waiting for you to accept a request. When payment is confirmed, Film Exchange accepts it for you and sends the tickets. It does not mean you are paid right away.
You receive your full asking price after the screening and the ticket issue deadline, if there are no problems. Bank processing can take longer.
Set up payouts with Trustap before you get paid. Direct payment does not need a Trustap account.
Purchase terms
By agreeing, you accept the Trustap Terms (trustap.com/terms) and the total shown, including the buyer protection fee.
You authorize payment by card through Trustap, and authorize Film Exchange to reserve these tickets, create your checkout and send you the ticket files after Trustap verifies payment and the sale is accepted.
Tickets stay reserved while any payment issue is checked. Payment and any refund are verified with Trustap.
